Have you ever seen a 1978 vintage Apé roaming around the streets of Cleveland? Probably not! That is exactly why we love our Italian Apé— it is unlike any other catering truck in the area & can even fit inside venues to serve guests, without them having to step foot outside!

We are firm believers that the details matter, and when it comes to events, our Apé undoubtedly serves as a centerpiece that can elevate the vision and details of your special day. From its small, three-wheeled uniqueness, to its charming Italian touches, the Apé not only serves as a statement, but also serves equally perfect desserts, in the form of our waffle cookie ice cream sandwiches.

Our Apé is all electric, less than 6 ft. tall and 5.5 ft. wide, so it fits through any set of double doors that is at least 78 inches tall and does not have a center pole! With its all electric feature, this vehicle also meets indoor safety requirements for venues.

These bite-sized treats are easy, neat, and the perfect serving for both kids and adults. But, what we love most is the trio option, allowing you to try not just one, but three, of your favorite toppings!

All of our sandwiches are made using two crispy, buttery waffle cookies, which are then stuffed with ice cream, before being coated in additional toppings and drizzles of your choice. Our waffles are European (on brand), and they are a happy medium between a cookie and a cone— melts in your mouth!

  • Yes! The Ape is all electric and can fit through any double doors (without a center pole) that are at least 78 inches tall, so it is a great option for indoor events, where you would not want guests having to leave your space (think Winter months).

  • We are a small crew at Sogno Sweets, so for now, we are servicing those located in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas, for both public and private events! If you are unsure if you are within our travel distance, please reach out!

  • While our peak season is during the summer months, we are looking to take on events year round. We can be most flexible for weekend events, but will do our best to fulfill your weeknight celebrations as much as possible!

  • What’s better than waffles and ice cream?! All of our unique sandwiches are made from two waffle cookies, stuffed with toppings and chocolate or vanilla ice cream. This is then rolled in your topping of choice. Toppings and ice cream flavors vary based on our event.

  • Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to offer dairy and gluten-free options on our permanent menu. If you have an allergy, we would be happy to accommodate as best as we can.
